Noticed I was having some bleeding, so after speaking to the on-call doctor, my husband and I decided to go to the emergency room.

We were supposed to be 12 weeks on Monday. When we went in for our first scan at 7 weeks we heard the heartbeat, and were elated.

When we went to the emergency room yesterday, they couldn’t find it. We saw everything but that. The doctor said there’s a 1% chance that we will hear it on Monday, when we go to our original appointment.

I’ve already chalked this up as a loss. This will be our second miscarriage is 7 months.

Honestly, I’m just lost. I really thought we were in the clear this time.

I don’t even know how I’m supposed to feel. I guess I’m still in shock.
