My toddler has hemorrhoids. Earlier this year, I noticed a bump around her anal opening. I asked the doctor and they said since she’s pooping regularly it was fine. I noticed it has not gone away and now she is having issues pooping. She has extreme crying and discomfort when passing a bowel movement. We went to the doctor a few weeks ago, and they confirmed it is a hemorrhoid. They told us to reduce dairy, incorporate prunes, and miralax. It seemed to help, but we don’t have her during the day since she is at daycare. This weekend, she passed a hard stool with blood in it. I plan to call the doctor in the morning for follow up.

However, I wanted to see if anyone’s child has experienced this as a toddler. The doctor told us that hemorrhoids in babies can go away naturally. I have experienced this as an adult having pregnancy and it is horrible.
