Where do newborns sleep ??

So my newborn doesnt want any of those besides mine and my husbands arms & idk why. We introduced him to the bassinet & doeent like it so what a waste of 200$😩 crib (hes too young for that).... car seat we tried rocking him and nothing i need sleep and need to do things..

Car seats are dangerous to leave babies in to sleep, btw. 
Have you tried the crib? I know you said baby’s too young, but your baby might like it. How old is baby?

Best pictures I could find of the boppies. These ones done have a hole in the middle so that the baby doesn’t slide down into a position that can interrupt their breathing.

I want to show you something else too. If you can wrap a planet, maybe even a small relieving blanket into something that would make the baby feel like his back is up against something while he’s swaddled, that can help too.

Due to some losses in my family I would stay up with them all night while my brother and SIL slept, so I want to recommend not using a thick blanket like the one I used in the picture. I was eyeballing these babies the whole time, and thicker blankets are safe to use with a newborn baby.

Both my kids never slept in a crib or bassinet. They would cry and scream for HOURS! They would only settle in my arms. We did rock n play for short naps then

Have you tried swaddling? You can try a boppy. We used these boppys for my twin nieces that didn’t have a hole in the middle. It just made the babies feel more snug and secure. They just came out of a womb where they were perfectly snug and warm so they crave that. Being swaddled snuggly into a boppy seems to be a very happy place for newborns. I’ll post a picture of the boppies we have

Have you tried sleeping with a blanket and then swaddling baby with the blanket that smells like you? Newborns are like bloodhounds and get alot of comfort from you and your SO's natural smell.  I also recommend a white noise sound machine as it mimmicks how it sounds in the womb.   Outside world is so new and scary and baby's main comfort/lifeline is you and it takes some time for them to be ok without clinging to you 24/7

That’s just how it rolls sometimes! Get a baby wearing wrap for naps and keep trying the bassinet at night! 🙁 A swing might also be okay for daytime naps if they like the motion.

Never ever ever ever let a baby sleep in a car seat. 
Newborns are tough, they are out in a big scary world and all they know is you. It’s hard but I’m sure you’ll find a solution and your little one will begin to sleep better. Just please make sure you are aware of SID and suffocation risks.

All the above. We don’t put her in the car seat at home, but she sleeps in it when we’re in the car going places.
