High blood pressure???

Hi Mamas!  So I just got back from my 14 week check up and baby girl looks great but my blood pressure was super high.  
The last two appointments it had also been a little bit elevated but today it was so high the Doctor said it was hospitalization level high! He took it again after the appointment was over and it was more normal (120/84)
All of my blood work was normal and I’m not overweight.  He said it seems like classic white coat syndrome and that I need to take and log my blood pressure at home to be sure.
I think I just get really really nervous before I go in for my appointment!! Has anyone else experienced this sort of situation?

I get really anxious at appointments too, but I also wasn’t eating the best during my first trimester. The only thing I wanted to eat was bolognese and egg and cheese sandwiches so that didn’t help. I would say to just double check that your diet is low in sodium and saturated fats just to be sure that it is white coat syndrome.

I have my doc take it at the end every time now because of my nerves. :) I bought a cuff for home just to be safe.

Yep, same thing! I take my at home regularly. Always pretty normal. Whenever I go to the doc, it’s always high at the beginning of appointments. My OB said it’s white coat hypertension.

I went through this last time I went but I do think he's right it's white coat syndrome I get really anxious about the baby being ok
