Unpacking diapers

Hi ladies! So silly question for you. I’m just fiddling around in the nursery at 37 weeks. Would it be too early for me to unpack some diapers and put them away in a drawer in our changing table? I’ve heard you don’t want them exposed for too long because then they’re not as absorbent. TIA
