What/when to start buying?

Hi March mamas, have any of you started to buy anything? And what did you guys buy first? I don’t know if I should register for a stroller, car seat, etc and wait because I know my family will buy it for me (they told me they will) but I’m not having my baby shower till February. Which I’ll be 8 months by then and idk if that’s to late to get that stuff set up.

I’ve brought a few items of clothes and a couple packs of diapers and wipes... due 5 March. I also am on the fence about buying to much due to not being sure what we’ll be gifted. But ill buy all the big ticket items myself.

I bought a few clothing items and diaper bags. I did register on Amazon, Buy Buy baby, and Target. My shower is scheduled for January 31st to give time to setup and for just in case I deliver a little early. My due date is March 4, 2021

I just bought the babies dresser yesterday, that was my first purchase! I don’t find out the gender till the 16th so I just got a white dresser and once I find out the gender then I have a place to put all the baby clothes and they won’t be all over the place and drive me insane 😂

I bought a bassinet so far. I have my list of things to get but I’m waiting to find out the gender which is soon I hope. I want to baby shop. I’ve been cleaning up to get ready for baby items

I would register for the stroller and car seat since your family has expressed the desire to buy it for you.  Those items are both relatively easy to put together (I did both like 2 weeks before my due date and had no problem!).  I would recommend putting the big stuff together well before your last month or two.  I made the mistake of putting a playpen together with a big belly and did not enjoy the process lol.

I have a list with basic things we need for the baby. I am 17weeks and we started buying maybe 2/3 weeks ago if any of those items are on sale. So far we have a baby bath tub, base for the carseat, a swing, wipes, some clothes etc. So basically random things which we caught on sale. Stroller, crib and dresser will be purchased by our family members so not yet worried about that.

Well i got 3 box of 375 wipes box, 1 box of new borns, 3 box of size 1, 3 size 2 box and more clothes. I’m not too worried about stroller and car seat I’ll get that by February! So far so good

I have a 15 month old so I still have all the big ticket items but I’ve started buying clothes since this baby is a girl and I’ve only ever had boys
