Due date?

Baby has always measured ahead and I'm now 34+2 but measuring 37-38 weeks and baby is 6lbs 3 oz. Has anyone measured ahead and actually gone into labor before "due date"? Just starting to worry I'm not as prepared as I should be. 😅

"Measuring ahead" at this late in the game is poor terminology that unfortunately some drs still use. It just means baby is bigger than average. It doesn't really change your due date because the organ and lung development is the same pace as your original due date.

I measured almost 2 weeks a head almost my entire pregnancy. Went into labor 9 days before my due date.

I’d get as prepared as you can be momma you still might not have baby till 40 weeks but with them measuring ahead you definitely could have them within the next two weeks
