Yes. One of my nieces got it, Two cousins, a coworker. One of my really good friends lost her dad & mother within the same week due to Covid. All of them said it was really painful to recover from. I’m in USA.

Me and my toddler had it in June. Worst thing ever...wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy. My cousin works in a assisted living facility and 12 patients got it at her facility and 5 unfortunately died. My cousin ended up getting it too. Another friend is positive she had it in Feb but they refused to test her at that point because she had no direct ties to china or travel to china. She was having such a hard time breathing she thought she was going to die. The hospital told her to sit in a hot steamy room and if she gets to the point she can no longer breath at all call 911.

2 friends and 2 family members (cousins). Both friends described theirs as a bad cold mostly just feeling tired and congested with fevers of about 100 for a week. My one cousin had similar symptoms, possibly a little worse describing it as more flu like but also only lasted about a week. And his wife was about 2 months pregnant when she caught it from him and said she just felt really tired for a week or 2 but wasn't sure if that was more from covid or from pregnancy.

Almost my whole family got it. My mom almost died but luckily everyone made it through, including the children who had the sniffles and fever for about a day and then they were fine. Hits everyone differently. I don’t live at home anymore so I didn’t get it. Good thing too cause I’m 17 weeks pregnant!
