VSD ( Ventricular septal defect )
Today we got the news that our 2 month old has a large vsd (7mm). He has no outwardly symptoms of a baby with a vsd, breathing is perfect, pulses great, liver not enlarged, and is gaining/growing well but it is very obviously there via echo. Our cardiologist is projecting little babe will be needing surgery 3-4 months from now 😕
Has anyone had their babies large vsd close on its own? If not how did surgery go? What should we expect?
