Doxycycline and monistat ?

Question

Can I take doxycycline & monistat at the same time ?
I’m on antibiotics for 6 months .
Or it doesn’t matter since they are taken two different ways ?
Just curious if anyone else has taken these two together . I planned on calling my doctors and asking , but I forgot . It’s now night time and the pain is in full effect 😩. Seems like it gets worse at night for me.

I was on doxycycline for cystic acne. 
The doxycycline is more than likely what caused the yeast infection. Skip the monistat, go to a doctor and explain the situation and get the pill that cures yeast infections. 
Especially if you have health insurance I don’t see why you’d rather burn your vajayjay with monistat when you can simply go to a doctor and get a pill for free or cheap. You won’t see me doing that as long as I have health insurance no sir. 
I went way too long taking health ins for granted and I’m going to use it to it’s full ability

The doxy probably caused the yeast infection. I was on it for acne had to get a diflucan pill from the doctor to clear up the yeast infection bc monistat just didn’t cut it. Also start eating some yogurt and or taking probiotics and it should help keep from gettin any more yeast infections

When you are in doubt of taking anything over the counter you need to speak to your pharmacist and tell them what else your on
Also if your doctor put you on antibiotics for 6 months then there would of been advice either by the pharmacist or doctor on what to do in the mean time of what to take
