When to Worry

Hi mamas! My baby girl has been less active yesterday and today...wondering when to worry. Both of my babies have been VERY active in the womb...felt it early and often...so it’s hard for me to know what’s normal and what’s concerning. I’m 25 weeks as of yesterday. TIA!

They reccomend starting kick counts around 28 weeks until then it can be fairly inconsistent still :)

If you’re worried, call your obstetrician and they can arrange for some monitoring if they think it’s necessary. There’s no harm in checking and you’ll get peace of mind

i’m 24w and my little one is super active for 2-3 days and then has like a rest day. it worried me at first but then i started to notice it as a pattern. OB said it was normal to be inconsistent before 28w. i have an app called shell that i use to listen to the heartbeat on slower moving days. i’ve heard my babes HR since 11 weeks with it!

My midwife says drink a glass of ice cold water and lie on your side for 30 mins and monitor if there is any movements. If not, phone midwife/doctor for checks. Always been told better safe than sorry and you wont be wasting anyone's time x

I think it's later you have to start counting kicks and check activity. Sometimes baby's just being lazy lol. Mine fluctuates and isnt active some days and then a total goof ball the next.
