Syringe vs pens?

I’m taking insulin 3 times a day now and was just switched from the syringes to the pens. I find that the pens seems to be more painful injection sites. Anyone else? Curious if there are any tips or tricks out there.

I only ever used the pens and I don’t think I’d want to use the syringe lol so no advice from me

I don’t have hardly any pain with the pens. If you kinda use your finger nails and pinch your belly around where you want to test, it can help show you where you’re more sensitive to pain. Also, you can do thighs. I like to inject myself around my belly button.

I only have used the pens and I inject around my belly button and I noticed it’s starting to be painful each poke and sometimes I bleed or leak out insulin after pulling needle out and I started to notice a bruise appear yesterday from one site.
