Sorry but this is up to the penis (man) unless you did gender selection through a medical procedure.
I had sex closer to ovulation day and on ovulation day annnnd before. And I currently have 2 of each and now having my tie breaker baby which is a boy. Did nothing different than any other time we conceived.

There’s nothing you can do to choose what gender your baby is. Other than IVF treatments.
My husband and I tried every myth, old wives tale, and the Shettles Method to try and have a boy. 
We’re having a girl.

I read that having sex closer to your ovulation day may increase your chances in conceiving a boy. This is due to the male sperm are smaller and quicker, therefore beating the fatter, slower female sperm to the egg. 
I don’t know how accurate it is but worth a shot.

They say boys swim faster so maybe only have sex the day of ovulation
