Any twin moms choose to forego induction at 39 weeks?

Hello, my doctor says everything looks normal and on track , with both didi twins head down, but says the risks go up after 39 weeks, so he is wanting to induce me at some point this week (before week 39). My doula has told me that many twin moms give birth around 40 weeks, and suggests me letting my body decide when the right time is. I’m planning to ask my doctor what specific risks increase and why on Tuesday, but was wondering if anyone has been in a similar situation and what you decided to do and why.

I had a natural birth with my first at 40.5 weeks.
