IUD removal questions and a touch o’ story time

Hey y’all. Kinda a bit of a story but I am 17 and met my bf a few months before getting a skyla iud inserted as BC. I wasn’t on anything prior. It HURT SO BAD for a few days and since then I have had 48day steady bleeding and mild cramping once in awhile. It was fine I guess and I liked not worrying about being sexually active.

BUT then something crazy happened. I came to God and have been born again. I have since decided to not have sex until marraige, and I’ve been dealing with the bleeding and spotting(it’s finally calmed down) but my chiropractor today told me to “get that thing outta ya!!”

So, I know that I won’t be having anymore sex, and I want to remove it after a few months. I’m nervous and I don’t want it to hurt as bad. I was just wondering if anyone had any comfort or could tell me their story of removal!

((Also, just wanted to say to whoever needs to hear: if you feel alone, empty, depressed, suicidal, or even happy but just missing something you can’t place. Jesus is waiting for you. It may not seem like it, but He LOVES you unlike any love I’ve ever felt, ever, no matter how your living or what wrong you have done. Pretty incredible if ya ask me))
