Circumcision opinions (nothing negative please)

The hospital my baby boy was born at wasn’t doing circumcision at the time due to covid because it’s considered “elective.” They suggested a pediatrician who did them in office. My son was born 6 weeks early according to his due date. I believe I was 37 weeks when he was born. The doctor would not do it until his supposed due date but we couldn’t get in to have it done until October 23rd. My son was born August 6th. I’m kind of at a point where I don’t want to do it now. I feel like he’s too aware of pain at this point and I looked up the restraint chair that they put them in. (Bad idea.) I was considering leaving the decision up to him when he gets older when they would give him anesthesia and pain medication after the procedure. What would you do in my situation? My mama heart can’t stand the thought of it anymore :(
