My team green baby is a girl
Wowza! My birth story is arduous. 44 hours of labor. I started labor on Saturday at 7pm. It was ALL back labor. I was in the worst pain of my life. I labored at home for 27 hours before heading to the hospital before I was stuck at ten minutes a part contractions forever . Upon arriving I went to triage I learned I was 6cm and 100% effaced. My water broke and it was determined the baby pooped. I was admitted and I went to a room. After 36 hours of back labor I called uncle and got an epidural. I hadn’t slept in over forty hours and I was done. I finally got some sleep and this morning when the midwife checked me, I had made no progress and my cervix was swollen. (Sunny side up baby did that!) they started pitocin but baby did not do well, so today at 4pm we made the call for a C-section. And out came my little girl! Élodie Susan, 8 pounds 2 oz, 21” long. She’s incredible at breast feeding and will not hesitate to tell you if she’s upset. My
