Does whey protein affect fertility ?

Hello ladies, 
We have been ttc and I 
Also taking 2-3 scoops or whey protein everyday. I do HIIT exercise everyday 45 mins. I want to know if whey protein affects fertility in any way for me and my husband both??? He is also taking the whey protein everyday.

I was working out drinking whey protein before pregnancy while ttc and got pregnant. Still pregnant, baby healthy. I would stop once you find out you’re pregnant though.

Unlikely the actual whey protein but possibly an ingredient in it could have some negative affect on fertilty but its hard to say. Usually not but whey protein and supplements arnt evaluated through the fda. Legally companies can add a ton of stuff that your body doesn’t need(fillers). Most likely it has to do with one or both partners... poor sperm quality or low sperm count... or for women poor ovulation.. blocked tubes etc. it can take healthy couple up to a year to conceive, after a year doctors will look into it further! Its pretty cheap to have a sperm analysis done compared to everything thats tested in women, so if you wanted to rule your boyfriend out you guys could do that! If all looks well and trying under a year it just takes time! If over a year then you can speak with you obgyn about the next step.
