Please help!!!

I had my copper coil removed last month, 22nd September. I was told that because the copper coil has no hormones it’s possible to fall pregnant straight away, we tried in September (wasn’t expecting it to happen) and it didn’t happen which is fine! Although my period hasn’t came and I’m two days late.. is it normal for the copper coil removal to stop your period altogether? I wasn’t told anything when it was removed except “why do you want it removed, you’re a baby yourself” please help!
