Sex 3-4 days after insertion?

Alright so I just got the iud lileta on Wednesday. I’ve never been on bc before and had my second baby August 27th. I’ve been reading timeframes from immediate to 2 weeks after insertion is okay to have “unprotected” sex without condoms. I stopped my pp bleeding around September 16-18th. When the doctor inserted it I did have some unusual bleeding/discharge that day, but that’s it. My question is when can my so and I have sex again? My doctor didn’t tell me and I didn’t even think to ask at the time, being that it’s Friday evening I’d have to wait till Monday to call and ask. Has anyone had unprotected sex 3-4 days after your iud was inserted? I’d like to be intimate again with my husband since we haven’t been able to in months. However don’t know the effectiveness or potential for infection after 3-4 days? What’s y’alls experience been?
