A Mother's Blessing

Baby Showers are great to have to celebrate welcoming in the new addition to the family. However, us Momma's need some love, too! Especially with the journey we are about to embark on. My soul sisters and I had a Mother's Blessing this weekend and it was so amazing! I wanted to share the beauty of the evening with you all and maybe inspire someone to do something similar because we forget about ourselves and honoring ourselves. We got together, adorned each other, created an altar, made flower crowns, had the official ceremony, and feasted! It was quite the experience and so happy that it went as smoothly as it did. It also helps when you have an amazing friend with the space to hold something as sacred as this was yesterday. This will be the last time I'll be in ceremony with them until the baby arrives as I've decided to quarantine for the last 1.5 months before her due date to be as ready spiritually and emotionally as possible. These moments I will forever cherish, as I know motherhood is such a fleeting time. 🤰🏽🔥😍🎶💜🙏🏽🧡💗🌷🔥🦋
