Nursing pillows?

What are your favourite nursing pillows and how long can you use them?

You should definitely look into getting the My Brest Friend. I have tried the boppy pillow but I feel like it’s too soft and not firm enough to hold the baby in place I always have to fix my baby. Then I bought the my brest friend literally game changer so much firmer but still comfortable for baby and it has a pocket which u can put your phone or any other breastfeeding supplies.

I have both the boppy and my brest friend and I preferred the my brest friend. BUT I had to stop using them both because they were preventing me from getting a good latch. I'm not sure if I'm too tall or what but when I stopped using the pillows my latches got soooooo much better. Now I either do side laying feeding (helps so I don't choke my baby because I have a forceful letdown), or I just hold her in my arms.

I used a boppy briefly. For around 4-5 weeks before just switching to a regular fluffy pillow. One I found the boppy to not have enough filling to hold baby high enough. And two I’m a larger girl and I could never get the boppy to sit around me comfortably. Next baby I’d probably skip a boppy for nursing all together and go with a regular pillow from the get go.

Boppy pillow. And I still use it at 11m pp. just easier on my back. And comfier for my girl.
