Is this normal ?!?!

I took a pregnancy test today because I’m 4 days late. The control line is faint . I been experiencing light cramps and mild back pain. Me and my husband have been trying and two months we had a miscarriage. I’m just trying not to get my hopes up. Can someone give me advice that had a faint control line?
