To test or not to test...
According to Glow, I’m 6 days delayed with my period. However, having had a chemical pregnancy in Jan this year after an IUI, I am afraid to test. My periods are like clockwork and comes by 6th or 8th of the month usually. I read that extreme diet changes can cause period delays and since I’m trying to lose weight, I may have done that this month. I have been getting PMS symptoms like cramps every now and then, sore boobs (but not prominent, feel like it comes and goes).
I also did an IUI in May and then June. Both unsuccessful so I decided to give it a rest after that.
Now if I test, if it turns out negative I will be disappointed once and then again when AF actually shows up. So I’m thinking not to test and just wait to see blood so it only feels bad once.
If I test and it turns out positive, I have a fear of again having another chemical pregnancy or a miscarriage.
If I don’t test and just live healthily as if I’m pregnant, eat a lot of fruits and vegetables and exercise a little, get a lot of sleep, does that make sense?
I’m afraid to face the truth whatever it may be.
