My son (15months) woke up this morning with his voice sounding a bit scratchy mostly when he whines or cry’s, I just took these photos of his mouth I was just looking for teeth at first since he was being grouchy and saw these white spots on the roof of his mouth and redness near the uvula. So now I’m concerned and panic googling of course but not coming up with much, I’ll be calling the doctor first thing in the morning but I thought I’d see if anyone here has experienced anything like this, to put my mind at ease for the night.

Could it be thrush? I’m still breastfeeding so wouldn’t I be feeling that on my end as well? A cold or something? Any ideas??

(He was obviously pissed at me looking in there, but it was short lived and necessary, didn’t see any new teeth sprouting either.
