PLEASE help!! Pregnant with iud?

So I called my doctor bc my string to my iud is way longer then before ! They said it could of moved😕 since I’m on my period I haven’t been having sex but I did before I started my period and of course he didn’t pull out 😕 if my iud slipped could I still get pregnant even if I haven’t had sex in almost a week??

It’s normal for the strings to feel longer during your period because your cervix is lower during this time. That’s why doctors recommend doing string checks at this point in your cycle. If you reach up and feel plastic or something hard, then that’s cause for concern. You can always go in to get an ultrasound for checking placement.

If may have moved during the last time you had sex but yes there’s still a chance of pregnancy.
