How many words does your baby SPEAK?

Question

Just curious to see how other babies are doing! Mine seems to understand quite a bit but chooses to gesture and babble more than use his words currently. How about your baby? 😊

My son has 5-10 but a lot of them sound the same lol. 
Baba =bottle

And he just started saying “shhhh” when he gets his shoes. But only my husband and I “get” a lot of what he says. He also calls most animals “aba” and makes barking noises but I don’t really count that.

We speak Dutch so the words are different but he says mama, daddy, done, grandpa, car, tic tac (when he sees a clock) and calls all animals meows :)

I voted 5-10, but mostly they're word attempts, though he definitely means what he says. I also included names and animal sounds: 
 We know "hi" "dog" "kitty" "more" "Mama" "Dada" "Oma" (German for grandmother) "woof" "meow" "rawr" "thank you" "cookie" "ball" "shoe" and "book"
I'm not sure that everyone who heard him talk would know all the words, which is why I picked 5-10, but he's definitely getting clearer. We also do a ton of baby ASL and he uses that a lot more than he talks or he pairs them together. It's so awesome to hear him talk more and more!

We have mama, dada, ohhh (when noticing something good), whatdis (also when noticing sonething) hiya, die (bye with a sinister turn haha) rare, woof and meow- all animals sounds are interchangeable to any animal. Yah!! (When she feels shes done something great) ohoh (doing something she shouldn't haha)
