Post partum hair cut?

Just curious to see how many moms are going to cut their hair, I’m currently going through pp hair loss and thinking of cutting my long hair 😢

I got a preemptive haircut beefier my first was born 3 years ago. I went from "reaching below my bum" to "not even reaching my eyebrows" to make things very simple. It looked cute but I didn't like it at all. Plus, it was a pain while growing back, especially in that awkward stage when it's long enough to be a bother but not long enough for hair ties. (As a busy and lazy person, pony tails and messy buns are my go-to hair styles.)
This time around I just let it be. I'm doing my best to brush it every few days and finding hair strands everywhere in the house is a bit annoying, but manageable. On better weeks, I can brush it on consecutive days lol. But messy buns and pony tails are working well, and I feel a lot more like myself when I look into the mirror. Plus, I can give myself a haircut if I catch split ends! (And with the pandemic, I'm not up to sitting at a hair salon for hours anyway.)

I was just thinking my ends were looking kind of dead and I needed a trim. I’ve also been feeling kind of frumpy since the baby was born and thought it might make me feel better.

I did it before I had this one but with my first I cut it off to my shoulders. I lost so much hair that it looked much healthier and fuller. My hair got very thin for a while.

I'm thinking about it. I did it with my others because man are babies great at accidentally pulling the shit out of your hair. Abd toddlers too, for that matter. 
I have long, extremely thick hair. I am trying to keep it long (I used to cut it short once a year.) But gd does it get tangled, especially after a shower. 
I fortunately never have pp hair loss and I don't use straightening/curling irons or hair dryers, so it stays pretty healthy. Which is why I'm kind of considering keeping it long for now. I last cut it in July of 2019. 
I'll probably end up doing the big chop come spring when it starts to get hot here.

I have long hair and my hair dresser said she won't cut it short because its healthy regardless of hair loss..lol
