Trick or treating?

Are you taking your kids trick or treating this year? Has your town/state cancelled Halloween for any of you? My state hasn't cancelled anything that I know of, but I'm not sure if I'm taking my child or not.

We’re doing the traditional trick or treating in my neighborhood. Anyone who doesn’t want to participate will keep their lights off just like normal.

Luckily our state hasn't canceled anything and has been better off when it comes to Covid. Well some areas I guess. We've decided on actual Halloween we are staying in and passing out candy. But will have a family movie night with pizza and goodies. Next weekend is when a lot of places are doing the trick or treating events so we will go to a bunch of those. Luckily my kids are 3 and 1 so it's not a huge deal to them.

Not sure yet if we will or not, it’s been advised against where we live but not outright banned, was thinking maybe trying to organize something w/ my stepson’s friends, like just trick or treating at their houses, at the very least we did way more outside decorating than we have in the past & we’ve been watching Halloween themed kids movies/tv shows, last weekend we went to the pumpkin patch (wearing masks & socially distancing) & we decorated a “Halloween House” (like a gingerbread house but chocolate flavored), we’ve also gone on walks to check out neighbors decorations 
If it’s not raining on the 30th then my 3.5 year old daughter will get to wear her costume to her outdoor preschool, not sure if my stepson’s virtual school will allow kids to wear costumes on that day or not (usually when they’re in in person school they’re not allowed to wear them during the school day but they have a family dance in the evening that they can wear it to)

We will be taking my 7 year old daughter and 6 year old step son out this year

My mil suggested we have a pizza party on that day with our 3 family’s ( hers ours and her ex daughter in law) that always do every event together which is fine with us she also suggested we make candy bags for the children since no one will be going out this year of course our children are welcomed to wear costumes
