I was raped when I was 14(almost 4 years ago) and he took my virginity. Since then I’ve wanted to have sex but my body goes into freak out mode when I’m touched sexually. So how do I get comfortable with having sex?

What sort of worked for me was therapy. Two years of therapy later I’m not disgusted by sex but just apprehensive of it. I think if you want to fully heal you’ll have to have a great sexual experience but before all you can do is heal your mind

1.) Don't force it.
2.) Find a therapist that works with sex trauma (for example i went to the sexual assault center in nashville). 
3.)do not blame yourself. You are subconsciously protecting yourself it seems.

First off, he didn’t take your virginity because you didn’t give it willingly. So as far as anyone is concerned, you’re still a virgin, especially emotionally. Know that what happened was not your fault at all. When you find the person you think you’d like to have sex with, I encourage you to let them know what has happened to you. If they’re worth having sex with they will understand that this will take time and to let you guide the experience. You may feel ready and then in the moment realize you aren’t and that is perfectly okay, understandable and reasonable. He should not get upset with you. He should support you. As others have said, counseling is very beneficial. I encourage anyone to go to counseling even if they haven’t experienced sexual violence. I was raped at 19 and still see a counselor regularly and I’m in my 30’s. Listen to your body, experiment with toys and getting comfortable with your partner and know that this is going to be a process for you and that’s okay.
