I was reading in another post that it's a scam group. But I have seen them cited in some articles. Are they a legitimate source?
Follow up Question. Is this a Liberal group and if so are there any Conservative groups that do the same thing.

No. It is a civil rights organization. Given its purpose, you can see why “certain” people don’t agree it with it.
