spotting and random blood clots

I started the pill 2 weeks ago on the first day of my period and have noticed light bleeding since yesterday.

Today i went to the toilet, noticed a bit of blood and a blood clot.

I put on a pad a couple hours ago and went to check and there was a dingle small stringy blood clot and the smallest amount of blood.

Is that normal? Will i experience heavy bleeding?

I’m meeting my boyfriend tomorrow, i’m kind of bummed out.
