Anyone here ever have an issue with your 12 week ultrasound with the baby having a thickness on the neck??

Yes, my babygirl showed to have increased Nuchal fold, I was sent to a specialist for more in depth scans, everything then came back fine. I'm 36 weeks now with a completely healthy babygirl. Dont worry too much x

I had this with my last pregnancy. 4mm fluid build-up though genetic screening results were normal. Went through an amino and everything. I now have a happy, healthy, and strong little boy who is thriving. Please don’t worry. I spent too much of my pregnancy worrying and really regret it.

This scan is only done at 12 weeks they will send to a specialist see what they say then maybe do a Chorionic villus sampling if they think baby is a high chains for downs, don’t stress huni until the specialist app

Can be a sign of Down syndrome, can also just be a thicker fold or not properly viewed through the ultrasound so don’t stress too much yet. Just wait and see, they’ll have to measure it a few times throughout your pregnancy to get an idea of if it’s something of concern or not x
