Taking pill late..Is this true?

I took my bc pill 45 mins late today and I’m worried! I googled if taking it a little late will decrease the effectiveness. Then I heard that you can take it up to 2 HOURS late...ladies this is my first time hearing this😅

Depends on the pill. Combo pill yes, mini pill should be taken as close to the exact same time as possible. That’s what my on said
