I need perspectives

Ok so I’m just looking for some perspectives on how one would handle this situation

I have a Nintendo switch and I recently got a new game and Iv been pretty excited about it since it came out, my step son 13yrs (I love him dearly❤️) he showed interest so I told him he could make a account on my game and that lead to us both having a blast, here’s my situation. He likes to speed up games, he hates waiting real time when the game syncs real time. Well I told him not to change the time on my switch and that night when I went to sleep he got up and played it and changed the time for upgrades in the game and changed it back. (How I know is the calendar in the game showed the time change.) now the next day I told him the only way to get the trees to grow that fast is to change the time and he said he didn’t do it (I found out about the calendar day after he told me he didn’t do it). So my issue is not with the game my issue is with.

1# he did something I told him not to

2# he lied about it

Give me some perspectives of how you would handle or not handle this situation.
