Weight loss and breastfeeding ?

So let me start by saying that I was not one of the lucky ones that lost weight with breastfeeding alone, and I heard that I cannot be on a keto diet while breastfeeding, so is there anything I can do while breastfeeding to lose weight? 
Or do I really just HAVE to be fat until my baby doesn’t breastfeed anymore and too bad so sad ? 🙄🙄🤣🤣🤣

Eat healthy and exercise. Try not to calorie restrict as that can diminish your milk supply. Kelly mom has some interesting info on their website about it.

I breastfed both my kids and didn’t lose a pound the whole time. It was really quite upsetting I felt like I still looked pregnant for an extra year. I ate healthy but found little time to exercise. I found that my supply suffered when I tried to change any routines. But it only took a few months once I stopped nursing to lose the weight. Good luck!

I gained a ton of weight when pregnant with my boys and lost it all by breastfeeding, exercising and doing low carb( not keto )

You can do Keto but it need to be higher carbs then the ‘normal’ keto. Dr told me so. But what I did instead was just count calories/macros and lost weight with no exercise. You need to be sure you’re eating enough calories because of breastfeeding. Luckily I’m almost done BF so I’m excited. I hated it.
