Who has PCOS?

I have an appointment scheduled for Wednesday to see if I have it 😣 I have all the symptoms so we’ll see. 
What happened at your doctors appointment where you found out you had it? Did you have a suspicion or were you totally blindsided?

I have pcos. I had no idea I had it and was totally blindsided at my appt. I have had horrible periods for years and unable to lose any weight jo matter how much I would diet and exercise. I talked to so many drs over the course of 12 years and none of them took me seriously. they all put me on every birth control know to man to try to control my bleeding and nothing worked. I had all but given up and I decided to try one more dr. He listened to everything I told him about the heavy bleeding, the not being able to lose weight no matter what I done, all the bc the other drs out me on. He sent me in for a transvaginal ultrasound and I was floored when I found out I had pcos. It's very hard but it's something you can live with but ttc is very hard! I'm here for you if you ever want to talk. I haven't had a period now in 109 days because of my pcos and being super irregular.
