Keto diet

My dr recommended that I start a low carb and limit my sugar intake along with light exercise after completing the three hour glucose test and only having one high reading. She said they won’t diagnose me with gestational diabetes but will do random glucose checks just to make sure nothing develops.

I’ve heard/read some things about the keto diet and how it’s super low carb/sugar. Has anyone else who’s going through the same thing or has gd doing this?

I’m not trying to lose any weight, just wanna make sure my baby and I are healthy. I’ll definitely ask my dr about this idea before I do anything :)
