Mom is about to loose her job..

My mom is 70 and has worked as a high school special education teacher for over 20 years.

Because of covid they are doing virtual- now the public system is now giving ALL THE TEACHERS NOTICE BY THIS FRIDAY that if they cannot come into the school by January that they should notify the principal to :

1. Quit

2. Retire

3. Take unpaied leave

She has a doctor's note because she has underlying health conditions and that allowed her to teach virtual so far..well NOW it might not even save her job

Aka which means no job- no health insurance, which I'm on too.

This is really scary, she will loose 20,000 between January and March.

We also live in the top richest cities in the USA. So bills are high..

She is scared that she won't be able to take care of what she needs to take care of..

I'm scared for her as well.
