Placenta abruption mommys?!

Question

Anyone have a traumatic birth last time and had a placenta abruption? 
I had one with my daughter so I’m super nervous for that to happen or another miscarriage... I had two before my daughter and had her after 2.5 years of trying! 
Love to know I’m not alone and can talk with others that understand ❤️

Yes i had placental abruption at exactly 38 weeks.  And ended up having an emergency c section and it was so Traumatic and  terrifying to me that i im gonna be worried about it this whole pregnancy.  I found out i have blood clotting disorders which actually can increase your chance of it happening too.

Honestly my daughters birth is a total blur to me!! I actually went two days before I had her because my stomach was always tight and she wasn’t really moving. Two days later My “water” broke... it was all blood. It filled two toilets and I think three? Huge pads, another toilet... towels, it looked like a murder scene! I got rushed to the hospital and had and emergency csection. They only put me under general anesthesia and gave me “pain blockers” on both sides of my stomach and that did nothing lol she was in the NICU for a week and I was there for a week! After I realized I was on norco I got off it, after two days because I was breastfeeding! So not pain meds after that and yes everything was very painful lol! I’m glad yours didn’t turn out that way!! I wanted a natural birth so bad but I have my baby so that’s all that matters to me(:

i had my placenta sent off to the lab for testing. i was told that it wouldnt be a reoccurring issue. im surprised they didnt do that for you. my son is 2.5 too. i really hope you had time for an epidural cause i didnt and i heard its a million times worse than a problem free birth. i wouldnt wish the pain i had on anyone. i went from contractions 13 mins apart all day but super painful and when i got to the hospital parking lot they were 2 mins long with 30 seconds apart. when i got checked 7cm dilated and 10 mins later i was pushing. i literally went from 0-60 in no time flat lol
