Long Bleeding After IUD Removal?

Hi everyone! I got my IUD removed August 20 as my husband and I are TTC (Kyleena had it for 2 years and before that I had Skyla for 3 years). I had 2 normal cycles once removed (period right after removal and a normal period in Sept). I then began spotting October 3 which would be my ovulation time, however I continued to spot and it got heavier. October 17 and 18 I bled like I have never bled before, it was sooo heavy and like a waterfall. I am still bleeding bright red not as heavy as the 17/18 but it has been 3+ weeks now! My doctor said they are not concerned as it does not fill up a pad within an hour and has not gotten worse, but I am wondering is this normal to bleed this long? How long until it will stop? We just want to try to conceive already I am sick of bleeding!! Any advice is appreciated 😅
