What are you opinions on loyalty during the “talking stage”/beginning/pre-official stage?

Like I personally don’t think I owe it to the guy to be loyal unless I hold the “girlfriend” title. 
But here’s what I’m thinking. I’ve been hanging out with a guy for about a month and a half, almost two months and we’ve had sex, but we also have gone on dates but bc of covid, we usually just hang out at his place and watch tv and chat - I see him at least once a week, sometimes twice but we’re both pretty busy with work and college. So it’s going well and I’m into him. But hypothetically what I’m thinking, is say I were to go on a date with another guy or had some sort of intimate interaction with another guy (kissing or sex or whatever), if I were to start dating the first guy (that’s I’ve been hanging out with for a couple months) would I be obligated to tell him about any other guy that I interacted with during our beginning/talking stage?? I’m not like planning on hanging out with another guy rn but my friends tell me about some guys they think I’d like and I usually say I’ll consider it - I don’t take into consideration that I’m talking to another guy rn, just deciding if the guys my friends want me to hang out are worth my time or not.

To me honestly because I was I raised differently I believe you can’t date multiple people during the talking stage and actually give your attention to them all and be able to make a conscientious decision.
I feel like if you can’t give me the time of day and show loyalty when it’s optional you can’t do it when it’s required.

Unless you both agreed to date exclusively then no it is not cheating. You are dating people to find your match. You are free to date who ever you want until you agree to make it official. For all you know the other person may be better for you.

Maybe I've always moved quickly but 2 months seems like plenty long to know if you want to date someone and be exclusive then make it happen. If you have any plans to be monogamous with him, I don't get why there would even be any interest on going on a date with someone else. 
Again, maybe I've always just moved quickly but it might not be a bad to get a status update on your relationship now to make sure he doesn't think you're his girlfriend before considering going on a date with someone else.

If you were just talking and hanging out I’d say you’re free to do the same with other guys til he locks it down. But, you guys are having sex and for me I wouldn’t do that with others overlapping. Imagine if he’s doing that too. It all just gets really messy and honestly dangerous depending on who everyone does or doesn’t use protection with.

I personally feel like if you're building a romantic long term relationship with someone rather your just talking for now or already in the relationship, it should be based off honesty and loyalty from the very beginning. Not lies and seeing what your other options may be! if I'm just an option to someone in the beginning why would I want to continue to build or be in a relationship with them at all.

This is a tough one. I’d say that if you were just going out on dates, it’d be okay to date multiple people. For example, if you’re using a dating app and you have multiple guys wanting to take you out, go for it! That is what I do. 
But if I am in the stage where I am regularly talking to this person, and sleeping with him, and we actually hang out consistently... well, what are you doing? It sounds like you’re serious about him but you’re not. It sounds like you’re just wasting your time with him. If you knew he was someone you’d want to commit to, I feel as if you wouldn’t really be interested in other options to begin with. You would talk to him first about it to see if he wants to be exclusive or not. So just the fact that you haven’t done that and you’re just waiting around for it makes it seem as if he’s not all that important to you and you should probably just stop this whole situationship.

Personally I was loyal from the first day we "talked". For me i couldn't be "talking" to multiple people and actually get to know any of them.

Unless you have both established it is a relationship, you can do what you want. However, I personally wouldn’t date or “test the waters” with multiple people at once. I dont have it in my heart to make someone feel like they are just another choice.
