Contractions and bowel movements??

I think this may be crazy to ask but either I'm getting bad bowel movement pains, that feel like tightening in my lower back and stomach or these are contractions But as soon as the pain stops, I have to go #2 So could these be contractions? They aren't consistent. And after I make a bowel movement they stop. I haven't felt this pain before though which is why i think they could be contractions. I'm 36 weeks today. Has anyone experienced this? What was your experience with this?

I’m not too sure, I haven’t experience anything like you’re describing, but with my first baby I while I was in labor having contractions I had to keep going to the bathroom. Like a lot, almost like my body was clearing itself out 😅

this has been happening to me everyday, i get really bad pains in my stomach that feel like contractions and then ill go use the restroom and the poop will be like really small and then after the pain will stop but everytime i get pains like that it always ends in a poop being small so i dont know what that means. but i know i want this baby out 🤣 36 weeks + 5 days

I definitely just checked into the hospital because I was having terrible stomach pains that were causing pooping and I was throwing up. I’m having contractions every 5 minutes. Better safe then sorry!

Are they time able, getting more intense, closer together ? 
Try a warm bath/shower walk around drink some water and see if that helps if they get closer and more intense then possibly they are contractions but stay they same or Peter out they are probably not contractions
