Venting about Pediatrician

Y'all I need to vent.

My little guy just turned 4 months. The ped my husband and I have is pretty old school but we went with her because she was the ped for my husband and his siblings growing up.

But she's on my last damn nerve. She chastised me for co-sleeping (though I follow the safe 7) and told me to give him rice in his bottle at night when he was 2 mo (which i did not do). And at his 4 mo checkup the nurse said we could start giving him rice/oatmeal cereal. I told the nurse I meant no offense but was curious about the CDC recommending not starting food other than breatmilk/formula until 6 mo. When the ped came in she said to follow 1 person (her) and not to go looking for other advice because it will "just drive you crazy" ..... like wtf?

When I talked to my husband about it later he was like "well I'm sure they get parents all the time that say "I saw this or that on the internet" blah blah. I'm probably just going to keep my mouth shut with her from now on and do my own thing because I don't need to take her shit for asking a question... but for now, I'm pissed.
