ohh fuck haha - yeah like the other comment said it can take a while i dont mean to be rude but the visual really puts it into perspective. if its not too heavy bleeding and if youre not having really bad cramps then id stick it out for slightly longer but if its heavy bleeding and youre in pain then id go back to the doctor

Sadly, yes. It can take up to three months before your uterus has calmed down again 🙄. If it takes any longer talk about it with your doctor, they can give you a pill that can help.

Yes unfortunately, when I had my copper IUD put in I bled for a full 6 months with like a week off once a month at most.. my dr told and all the researching did said this might happen and after the 6 months it should normalize which it did. So I wouldn’t worry unless you go past 6 months. Good luck dear.. sending you lots of love ❤️. Side note once the bleeding stopped I absolutely love the IUD it’s by far my fave form of birth control I’ve been on and I’m 35 so I’ve tried almost all of them lol.

It took me a year and a few months for my cycle to fix. My periods were lighter but more frequent and lasted longer. My cramps lessened so it was worth it even if it was frustrating. Now my hormones have regulated, my cycle is shorter and lighter than ever with little to no cramps and other symptoms. It may take time but it’s so worth it.
