Is it too soon??

Question

At 20 weeks and 2 days pregnant, I lost my daughter Jaida Elizabeth Simmonds on Oct 7th.
They said I was 12 days shy of the possibility of her surviving as a preemie— but because I wasn’t far along enough the pregnancy wasn’t viable and I would deliver her stillborn.
She was born at 9:53am on a Wednesday morning after 12 hours and 28minutes of labor. 
The doctors advised that after giving birth there is a risk for infection and no intrauterine activity should exist. In my grief and concious disobedience, I had sex with my spouse TWO DAYS after giving birth.
Thankfully, I have been healthy postpartum and we have had sex 10 times this month in the hopes of trying to conceive again. 
My boyfriend says we should wait and rest but I just can’t help myself! It’s all I think about!

If he wants to wait then I think you should. I had 3 miscarriages and each time my husband told me he would like to wait a bit before trying. Had to respect that. I had a loss at 16w, I didn’t try for a year.

Agreed with the other girls, I would respect your husband wishes as this could be his way of grieving. I wouldn’t take it personally as everyone mourn differently.

So so sorry for your loss! 😢 my mum also lost my sister at 20 weeks when she was age 19 and they didn’t tell her to not try again or anything. 
She tried again and fell pregnant straight away with me. Make sure your both mentally well in carrying on but if you still want too then go for it, nothings stopping you. 
My mum done it as she told me she went through the worst losing my sister so what was the harm in trying, she told me it couldn’t have got any worse. Also she was determined to have a child as that was what she wanted. Do grieve and let it out as my mum did. My sister always has a place in our family, my mum always counts her as one of her children when people ask.

Hello! 
On June 23, 2020 I gave birth to a 33 week stillborn due to placental insufficiency caused by placental infarcts.
We have been TTC for our rainbow since August. 
I am now feeling all of the same symptoms I had before I found out I was pregnant the first time. I am either 4 or 6 days away from my period and am anxious to test but trying to wait until I actually miss my cycle. 
I’m so sorry for your loss I truly know how hard it is to lose a child and TTC afterward. If you ever need someone let me know.

I lost our daughter in 2019 at 7 1/2 months and was advised to wait. I didn’t want to wait but my fiancé did. I tried and ended up pregnant 8 weeks later and mc that baby. That loss actually hit me harder than losing our daughter. It made me feel less of a woman and like I was broken. It also doesn’t help that I have children with a bum and my fiancé has practically done everything but adopt my boys. I felt like the one thing that I he deserves is a child of his own and I couldn’t give him that. I came to the realization with the help of my therapist that I was nowhere near ready to bring another child into this world. After about 8 months of therapy and a couple more losses I decided I would let my body do it’s own thing. My Kayden Mae would’ve turned two in March 2021, but I found out Sunday that I’m almost 4wks pregnant! I’m due July 2021 and I’m over the moon. I feel differently about this baby. Like I just know everything is going to work out. I’m anxious but I’m excited as well. Every other conception between March 2019 and now just hasn’t felt right. I guess it’s because I’ve allowed myself enough time to heal and develop coping mechanisms. My partner is still on pins and needles about it, but he’s not nearly as frantic about being pregnant as he used to be. I know for certain that waiting helped tremendously. I know the only thing you can probably think about right now is how badly you need to hold your daughter, but trust me waiting is really what’s best. Especially if your partner wants to wait. I know all of this is easier said than done, but you really do have to take his feelings into consideration. He lost a child just like you did. He’s probably on pins and needles/sorting through his own feelings just like you mama. Give y’all some time to heal physically/mentally/emotionally💗

I lost my son at 23 weeks in Sept 2017 and was advised by my OB to wait to try again until I’ve had at least 2 periods. We started trying in January 2018 and I got pregnant in March 2018 with my daughter who’s now 2.
