right person wrong time?

do you guys believe in right person wrong time? if so can you explain why.

i started talking to this guy in march and we talked and went out for a couple months but then he had to move across the country for a new job so we broke things off before it got super serious. we still talk pretty regularly and he sent me a birthday gift long after we called it quits. we flirt back and forth a lot but i’m not sure what to do with all of my feelings bc he means a lot to me and i think i mean a pretty good deal to him. neither of us has dated anyone else since he moved either which kinda makes things more confusing for me. i think i just need some advice or thoughts or anything.
