Weighing during appointments.
I’m in between size, small end of plus size and large end of straight sizes. I have always had issues with self esteem and my weight is a contributing factor. I haven’t weighed myself for years. I work out at least 5 days a week, I have a personal trainer and I think I eat pretty well. I am 5 weeks pregnant and I’m really stressing that they’re going to want to weigh me. I don’t want to be weighed, not even blind weighing where they just write it down. I don’t want it at all. Has anyone else dealt with this? My friend is a midwife and she says just tell them no, they can’t make you do anything you don’t want to do! I’m worried about being guilted about it. There was other ways to detect issues in the pregnancy that do not include needing to be weighed.
