I STILL have milk in my Breasts??!!

Hi ladies. I decided to stop breastfeeding my babygirl. She’s 14 months old. It was very easy. She’s not even bothered lol. I thought my milk would dry up in a few days. I was wrong! Lol. It’s been 5 days and I still have milk in my breast. I’m hearing that it may take months. How long did it take for your milk to leave your breast??

My mom just lost her milk a few years ago.  My younger brother is 35 years old!

First of all congratulations on doing so well!!🎉🎉🎉 I stopped at 10 months and I think it took about a month for my milk to completely go x

When breastfeeding that long it’s not going to immediately dry up. It can take a while.

Yeah my son is 3 now and I stopped breastfeeding at 18 months and it took a month or two for milk to dry up but I always still leak a little now and then till this day. Sometimes just when you squeeze the nipple or sometimes I have a tiny wet spot on shirt which I find so weird.
I AM pregnant now but even before this it happened 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️.

Taking Benadryl dried up my friends supply in a week or two. Her doctor told her to take it at night and wear a tight bra during the day.

With my first it took almost 4 months. With my second, it took 2 months. Now with my third and it’s been a month and I still have some left. I’m not expecting it to dry up for another month
