Hot tub?

I’m 7 weeks and 5 days pregnant, I am wondering if it’s okay to go in a hot tub? I’m a first time mom

No hot tubs, saunas, or tanning beds while pregnant.

No. Especially in the first trimester it is dangerous to be in water hotter than your body temp. Your baby can not regulate his own body temp and your body, when in hot water, could slow the blood flow to the submerged areas including your baby.

They say no hot tubs as you can’t regulate your body temp and can get dehydrated. With my second child I put my legs in the hot tub almost every weekend as it helped with the calf cramps.
